Graduate Data Analyst

Metricell is offering exciting opportunities for motivated graduates to join its Consulting Division as a network analyst. You will be working alongside experienced telecommunications engineers to help mobile network operators improve the performance of their networks, particularly in the areas of customer experience, business operations, quality and new services.
Our team achieves breakthrough results for our clients. You will be expected to play your full part, right from the start. You will learn to use our award winning geospatial software tools to measure, analyse and deliver network insight. You will use your data skills to develop additional analytical approaches using SQL, Excel and programming languages including C# and Java. From time to time you will be required to make network measurements in the field and present those findings to our customers, so some travel will be involved.
The successful applicant will be a natural problem solver, with an interest in understanding how things work: whether products, processes or people.
You will be expected to develop a good understanding of mobile network technology, operation and protocols as well as an appreciation of network planning and optimisation.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Network performance analysis
- Subscriber experience analysis
- Production of clear concise reports and customer presentations
- Working on high pressure consulting projects to help achieve breakthrough results for our clients
- Championing new features for our software tools and working with the development teams to realise them
